The Growth of Youth Enterprise Revolving Fund (YERF) – Well-capacitated, eager, and professional is what defines the new board. The newly ushered board led by Mr. Sifiso Dhlamini, has just been inducted in a three-day session at the Happy Valley Hotel.
The issues discussed during the induction were YERF strategy alignment to the National Development Plan (NDP) and the Youth Policy. As a parastatal that was envisioned by His Majesty King Mswati III and established by the Government of Eswatini, it is the duty of the organization to ensure that its growth plan is well aligned with the key development agenda of NDP, and priorities as set by the Government of Eswatini.
After receiving the Strategy, Regulations, and Policies - The board made a commitment towards; increase loan uptake by the aspiring young EmaSwati, improve in loan repayment and customer-centricity. The major goal is to see the fund revolving to ensure an increase in the number of beneficiaries. The board is excited with the gender balance in their team, the youth is well represented.
The Ministry of Sports, Culture, and Youth Affairs Economist/Planning Officer shared the Ministry’s Strategy, Youth Policy, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Ms. Primrose Dlamini from the Public Enterprises Unit (PEU) emphasized the key compliance issues the Board provides.
