1Standard Loan Requirements

Certified copy of ID
Certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation (for a registered company)
Certified copy of Form J
Certified copy of Memorandum & Articles of Association
Premises / Land right (Chief’s Letter, Title Deed, Lease Agreement, etc.)
Business Plan (Include relevant CV)
Market Contract/Letter of intent as proof of market
Trading Licenses (where applicable)
Only relevant requirements shall be attached by the applicants i.e. not all the above requirements are applicable to all applications.

2Lending Limits

Individuals - E5,000.00 to E50,000.00
Companies - E5,000.00 to E100,000.00
Cooperatives - E5,000.00 to E150,000.00

3Term of Loans

Seasonal term - 12 Months
Short term - 24 Months
Medium term - 36 Months

1Order Finance Requirements

Memorandum & articles of association (for companies & coops)
A completed loan application form
Cash flow projections.
A Purchase Order or contract document
Lease agreement / proof of premises ownership
Certificate of incorporation (for companies & coops)
Form J (for companies)
Trading license
Certified I.D. copy
Company’s resolution to borrow
Proof of physical address
Bankers (account number and branch)
Bank statement for at least 3 months (for existing businesses)

2Lending Limits

Sole Traders - E80,000.00
Companies - E150,000.00
Cooperatives - E200,000.00

3Term of Loans

Repayment Period: - 3 – 6 Months (once-off)
Interest rate: - Prime +4%
Security: - The Confirmed Order
Own Contribution: - Zero

*Prime rate is taken from the Central Bank of Eswatini Nb: The repayment of the facility is once off upon payment of invoice. The period of 3-6 months is only a grace period to allow the entrepreneurs to be paid by their clients. This period can be negotiated further if the invoice has still not been paid.

Proof of availability of technical expertise (CV) (compulsory)

2Lending Limits

Under this program, the minimum loan size shall be E5,000.00 (Five Thousand Emalangeni) while the maximum loan size shall be E30,000.00 (Thirty Thousand Emalangeni).

3Term of Loans

The business loans shall be payable over a maximum 24 months’ period.
